Beta rolls out its 2014 model year line of RR and RS Dual Sport motorcycles with plenty of upgrades throughout including a new Trail Tech Voyager GPS unit installed as standard on all three RS models.
The 250RR and 300RR two-strokes that were introduced in 2013 return in 2014 with the same price tag as the previous year ($7999 for both models) and suspension updates promise a smoother ride on all models.
2014 Beta RR First Look (250RR and 30RR two-strokes; 350RR, 400RR, 450RR and 498RR four-strokes)
All six of the Beta RR models carry over a number of features from last year. But the Italian marque paid significant attention to suspension updates, putting smaller cartridges inside the 48mm Sachs front forks, changing the compression and rebound pistons for improved oil flow and modifying the valving.
The top fork caps were redesigned to make changing the springs easier as well. Out back, the Sachs shock gets a reshaped rebound adjustor, updated valving and a heavier spring.
