He’s done it again.

Byron motocross racer and Byron High School senior Ben Adamson has qualified for his fifth Amateur National Motocross Championships to be held Aug. 1 through Aug. 6 at historic Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Tennessee. Adamson will be racing his 250 cc Yamaha dirt bike against the top 42 riders in the nation in the highly competitive College Boy and 250 B Limited classes.

I’m super proud,” Trudy Adamson, Ben’s mother said. “He’s worked so hard.”

Adamson took on more than 22,000 hopefuls from across America to earn one of just 1,482 qualifying positions. He competed in both area and regional competitions to qualify.

Adamson has been riding a dirt bike since he was 3.
